I wouldn't have bought this textbook if it wasn't required for my class. Big, heavy, and boring. Not appealing to the eyes at all. Didn't feel like it gave very good instructions on how to actually do the problems. Only used it for the homework problems that I had to turn in on a weekly basis, in the end.Also, the used edition I received was clearly owned by a previous smoker. Smelt awful. Had to sanitize the cover and lightly spray a few of the pages with Lysol to just dumb down the very strong smell. Helped a little, but not much.
This statistics book got me through the muddiness that was my Statistics lectures. When you can't understand the words coming out of your professor's mouth, dive into this book for clarification. It's strategic, using efficient stages to set up your knowledge base for the next piece of statistical information. I'd never taken a statistics class before, and I can't claim to be brilliant at math, but this book helped me pass my class with an "A". (So did my TA tutor, god bless him.)
This worked out great for my Statistics class, it is full of helpful equations and thorough explanations. It is even more effective if you supplement the reading with online or in person tutorials.
I use this book for Graduate Statistics over the summer. The entire course was cramped, A Headache..not sure what I really learned. Just glad it's over.

This book is for college. Not a big fan of this class, but it's college credit and the book is what I needed.
Love the book easy to read
Paid 157. For a badly damaged and unsanitary book. This book was unglued from the spine, dirty as if it had been in the garbage can, most of the pages were folded and creased beyond repair. I’ll be surprised if I don’t get a virus from touching this book!
