Totally different from the show. Never know what to expect the characters are different and a lot of detail. Good read though
I read this book in about 2 days. I liked it, but it needed to be longer for me. Like combining this and the 1st book together and the other 2 books together. I gave it a 4 because, well, watching the show before reading the books throws you off. Everything is different in some way. I love the show, I'm obsessed with it. The books are good too, but read before you watch. Otherwise it gets confusing.
Didn’t care for it
I think I will get to like it. Hard to compare, when I've been watching the tv show. Don't like how last names are different of some characters.....ex: Bonnie's last name is not Bennett in the book....Vickie's is. But overall, I think I will like it...it's vampires after all.
Thank goodness for the TV show because these books weren’t worth the money or the waste of my time. Please refund thank you.
read this series and feel sad with the absurd decision that the owners of the copyright had to replace the original author because they weren't happy with the plot twists....very very bad decision. until L.J.Smith wrote the story was superb....but once replaced the characters and the plot are somewhat lame and shallow, very poorly written.
Bonnie is awakening to her magic. Elena is finding that love mirrors hate and that truth is what keeps love alive. well, alive in a sense
